Thing I love the most about the green revolution

Posted by: BamBam In: Uncategorized

You know I’m not a big tree hugger, i understand the situation when it comes to climate change (atleast in layman’s terms) and i understand the need for a change in our habits and the level of consumption. Actually in my opinion probably the biggest stride to make the human race more green is to vilify consumerism … and hopefully stupidity and youth along the way.
BUT the there is one thing i really love about the green revolution. It’s a prospect and nothing substantial, but i hope from the bottom of my heart that it will become a reality within my lifetime.
That wish is that the oil producing country will loose a huge chunk of their income and they will have to move their slow brains into action . the fact that that they make money because they are squatting on a plot of land hasn’t been healthy to them.
So when i read this in the times, how they want to levy a tax on countries that move away from petrol into alternative resources just made me laugh my ass off at how stupid those guys can be… I just wish to the see the day when they can no longer rely on petrol for defining who they are as people

Here is the gem…err brain fart:

“Assisting us as oil-exporting countries in achieving economic diversification is very crucial for us through foreign direct investments, technology transfer, insurance and funding,” Mr. Sabban said in an e-mail message.

Many of them are actually trying to invest in greentech and education ! They try to get some well known people to work for them! And it z working!

It z strange that u are making fun out of them! I see u started to lose ur balanced way of discussing issues! In Jordan, are we using our brains? BTW I used to think that people from gulf are stupid, but now that am living there and teaching in a university there they proved to be normal humans! They hv the smart and the dump just like we do!

Life z way better organized here than Jordan can ever dream of becoming! it z oil, it z shit who cares, USA became number one by chance, and Americans are some of the dumpiest people whoever lived on earth!

I was making fun of them because they want to go against market forces, never has it been ok to suggest that you can make someone who does not want to buy your product pay you money.
The gulfies tend to be slow, and they also tend to rely too much on their stock pile of money. nothing proved this point more than how they handled the economic recession, and how they reacted so slowly to help resolve the situation.
I don’t have anything against the people, thought saudis tend to have some unique IQ’s. i was looking at a country as a whole. As for jordan I didn’t even touch on that and don’t worry i have my fair share of criticism about the “brains” in jordan
